Find the right businesses
Lead Engine runs a real Google Maps search in a browser, not an API guess, so you see what a person searching would see. Choose from 27 managed business categories, set a city or a whole country, and add criteria: minimum or maximum reviews, a rating range, and whether a website, email or phone number is required.
Country-wide campaigns are expanded into major cities instead of a single search. 13 countries have a curated list of major cities (including the United States, United Kingdom, UAE, Canada, Australia, Saudi Arabia and India), and every other country falls back to a population-ranked city list. Each business's own website is then read for email addresses, phone numbers, contact pages and social profiles, so the contact details come from the source.
Qualify against playbooks built for your kind of business
A playbook defines what a good lead looks like for what you sell. There are 7 of them, plus a neutral research mode:
- Website development agencies
- SEO agencies
- Social media marketing agencies
- Marketing, web and digital agencies
- Commercial local services
- Recruiting and staffing
- Consulting and professional services
- Research mode, for clean business data with no fit assumptions
Every playbook automatically leaves out businesses in your own industry, so you never pitch a competitor. On the Agency plan, a custom playbook lets you pick a base playbook and add your own excluded categories and keywords, so the definition of a good lead is yours. Need a category that isn't listed? Request it from your dashboard. See the playbooks in detail.
Verify every lead, and say exactly what was checked
Each lead gets 9 deterministic checks, combined into one score out of 100:
- Email format
- Email domain type (a real business domain, not a free mailbox)
- Mail server records for the domain
- Website address validity
- Website reachability and a valid certificate
- Phone number structure, by country and line type
- Whether the email domain matches the website
- Duplicate risk against other stored leads
- Google Business Profile link
We're precise about what this means: it confirms a valid, resolvable domain and a reachable website. It is not a promise that an email will reach an inbox, and we won't tell you it is. If a check fails for a temporary reason, such as a site being briefly down, the lead is rechecked automatically, and if a lead later has to be rejected, we search for a real replacement.
Understand every lead before you contact it
Every lead carries 5 scores from 0 to 100: fit, contactability, opportunity, confidence and a combined priority score. Beside them you get the evidence in plain language:
- What we know: the concrete signals we found
- What is missing: the data gaps, named specifically
- Worth double-checking: reasons to be careful before outreach
- A suggested offer and the best contact method to try first
- An outreach readiness score for the lead
Each signal shows its source and how fresh it is, so you can judge it yourself rather than trust a number.
Reviewed before it reaches you
Every lead is reviewed before delivery. High-confidence leads are approved automatically, low-confidence leads are rejected before they count toward anything, and everything in between waits for a person. Automated and human decisions are written to the same audit trail.
- Approve your own leads. Clients can approve pending leads one at a time or in bulk. Rejecting stays with our team.
- Competitor protection. A business already delivered to one client is held back from another client in the same category for a cooldown window (90 days by default). Every hold is logged and can be reversed.
- No repeats. You never receive the same Google Maps profile twice across your campaigns.
- Honest limits. This is not exclusivity, and it does not claim to be.
Keep your data fresh
Leads are flagged when their data, or the last scan of their website, is older than a set window (30 days by default), so you know before you act on old information. Freshness tracking is included from the Growth plan, and rechecks you can trigger yourself come with Pro and Agency.
Export what you need
Exports are multi-sheet Excel workbooks, not a bare list. They include a client-ready lead report with a campaign summary, verification summary, freshness warnings and a top-10 list, a sales-ready leads sheet, a full review export and a batch performance sheet. Every row carries its verification score, freshness, all five scores and an evidence summary. Pro and Agency plans can also download CSV. Exports include approved leads only.
Email your leads from your own mailbox
On every paid plan, connect Gmail or an address on your own domain, write a first email and up to four follow-ups in your own words, and start. Emails go out from your address at a steady pace, follow-ups stop when someone replies, and anyone who answers STOP is never emailed again. Read the details on the email outreach page.
Run campaigns without babysitting them
- Live queue position. See exactly where a campaign stands (for example, number 2 of 5 in line).
- A steady daily pace. Searches run in careful turns, up to 50 new leads per account every 24 hours by default, which keeps results accurate and the search reliable.
- Recovery. If a run is interrupted, unfinished searches continue and finished work is kept.
- Your allowance is a hard limit. Campaigns can't collect more leads than your plan includes.
- Workspaces and seats. Organise campaigns by end-client on the Agency plan, with team seats on every paid plan.
- Notifications when a campaign is ready, and clear warnings before your allowance runs out.
Built to be trusted
Admin changes to accounts, plans and settings are audit-logged. Every form is protected against cross-site request forgery, login and signup are rate limited, and the database is backed up daily. No card details are collected or stored by the platform. Anything we can't do yet, we don't claim: there is no CRM integration today, so you export to Excel or CSV and import wherever you work.
