Why Is a Lead Stuck in Needs Review?

A lead marked Needs Review has a verification check that hasn't cleared yet. There are two kinds of situations this covers:

• Temporary. Sometimes a website or contact check simply needs another attempt, for example if a site was briefly unreachable. These are retried automatically over time.
• Permanent. If a genuine gap turns up, like no working email on file, retrying won't change the outcome, and the lead will eventually be set aside rather than sitting indefinitely.

Either way, you don't need to do anything. The system keeps working through these in the background, and a lead never sits unresolved forever.
