Sending Email Outreach to Your Leads

Last updated September 24, 2026

Email Outreach lets you email the leads you've approved without leaving Lead Engine. It's included on every paid plan.

What you'll need

  • A mailbox to send from: Gmail, or an address on your own domain. A separate mailbox from your main business inbox is safest.
  • Your business postal address, which is added to every email.
  • Your own emails. You write them; we don't.

Set up in five steps

  1. Open Email Outreach in your dashboard, then How it works for the full guide.
  2. Add your business address and accept the terms.
  3. Connect your mailbox. For Gmail, create an app password and turn on IMAP. Your login is stored encrypted, and you can remove it any time.
  4. Write your emails in a funnel: a first email and up to four follow-ups. Use placeholders such as {{company_name}} and {{city}} to fill in each lead's details, or press Start from an example.
  5. Add your approved leads and press Start.

How sending works

  • Emails go out Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00 in your time zone, one at a time with a pause between them.
  • New mailboxes start with a lower daily limit and ramp up over two weeks.
  • Follow-ups stop when someone replies. Replies appear on your funnel page, and you answer them from your own mailbox.
  • Every email includes your address and a "Reply STOP" line. Anyone who asks to stop, or whose address bounces, is never emailed again.
  • Sending pauses automatically if too many emails bounce.

Your allowance

You can send as many emails a month as your plan's lead allowance, and every email counts, including follow-ups. Email outreach is not part of the free trial.

Good to know

Cold email always carries some risk to the mailbox it's sent from, and we can't guarantee that an email reaches an inbox. You are the sender, so you're responsible for following the rules that apply to you and your recipients.
